For about the last 4 years I've been wondering what this guy brings to the side. Bags of pace granted, but dodgy hamstrings, an inability to finish, cross, head the ball, tackle etc. Can't believe he was even offered a contract. Nice bloke, but you shouldn't get a contract for being a nice bloke. One decent goal against Man City and some flag waving was about it. Do any trickies agree, or if not, what do you think are the reasons he should have stayed?

I don't care he's gone. But I don't like the way he did it. All this stuff about I love the fans and sending his contract through the post. He was just clearing the way for a move to Derby, hoping to get fans on his side.
Just tell the truth, be a man about it. You got a better offer

We need a big clearout. Not just Tyson.
Bennett, Moussi, McKenna, Earnie and Adebola for starters. Then bring in a decent left back from a prem club. Chelsea have a fair few
A midfield holding man a and a new playmaker to feed the forwards. A couple of decent strikers and we'll be up a running
New faces are the answer

I reckon all the above will be off - maybe Earnie will stay. I'd chuck Tudgay in there too, the way he finished the season. Wish we had flogged Tyson to Blackpool for £1 million. Great price for a striker who doesn't score goals. Good luck Tys, but you were not good enough.

I'm a bit disappointed that he's going. I know that his end product wasn't there too often but things seemed to happen when he played. I know we should be looking for more than that but I can't see that we've got it at the moment.

So with Tyson leaving for Direby - over the past 5 or so years, have we sent more players to Sheepsville or have they sent more of their woolly rejects to us - just curious !

That missed header against Swansea (1st leg) was a total shocker and just about confirmed what I always thought about Tyson.

Apparently had his medical at Direby today. He's been a good servant but simply isn't good enough for where we want to be.

Well we have had Commons and now Tyson. You have had Earnshaw, Tugay, Camp, Blackstock and never forget about the the poisonous dwarf !

I am happy to see the back of him in a sense but not looking forward to playing whoever he goes to, because you know he'll raise his game and probably have a blinder!
