Played good football under him, very good attacking football infact. Has an eye for talent i.e Snodgrass, Bambioniceo, Da Costa Id be pleased with him, especially if we do bring in some technically gifted players from abroad, worked in League One with Andy Robinson and co

One of them is likely to be right - McAllister, Dolan, Hockaday - they have all got their hats in the ring and have all been talked up at one point or another.

I'm getting to the point where I don't actually care who the coach is, I just want someone appointed, so I can see the jigsaw starting to take shape.
Needs to be some positive activity from a footballing perspective, and it needs to start this week.

I'd like to see G Mac back.
This time he'll have an owner who wants to achieve; he also got the team playing football and we were doing well up to the bad spell and Histon.
He's also got an eye for good players and, he won't have any distractions like making sure there's plenty of bog paper in bogs.

I think he was unfortunate to be sacked - he had a bad run of a few games and of course the FA Cup game - managers since have produced far worse runs and results and survived somehow.....knows the club, the passion of the fans and what it means to be in the Premier League....I think it would be a great move to bring him back

10/11 hockaday, 6/4 dolan, 4/1 boothroyd, 8/1 McAlister with William Hill. Not a lot of achievement in management amongst that quartet.

JC .............. Sean Dyche hadn't done much when Watford and then Burnley gave him a chance ...........

Dyche did ok at Watford and lost his job because of change of ownership. The four in the betting comprise two with no management experience and two who have poor records. I hope we look elsewhere.

JC .......... exactly. Before Watford he'd done nothing of any note. Just an unknown coach in most circles. He was given a chance at Watford and has developed ever since .................... not saying any of these guys are the answer, but then there are examples of where seemingly unknown coaches produce the goods.
