If Rooney must start then play him in the middle with Sterling on the right and Welbeck on the left.

Drop baines completely and replace with the far superior shaw, if fit ox on the left wing

Shaw's been doing an excellent job of getting up and down the line all season.
I figured Baines + Shaw was something that we may have seen tried in a friendly tbh. I'd have given it a go.
