winning 2-0 at ht .....tactics & formation spot on today, pressing when we haven't got the ball this is more like it UTF

To be fair doc I think we've made them look bad. The pressing has been much better off the ball today and everyone's looked far more composed on it. It helps that our attacking trio of Nugent, Danns and, yes, even Vassell have all been excellent and finally given us some proper width. As for Fernandes...excluding Parker is he the best midfielder in the division?

Oh don't get me wrong we are playing far far better than on Wednesday, but i still don't think we've played brilliantly. Our pressing has been most impressive but there are still a few too many misplaced balls forward.
Fernandes is a class act and so is Nugent.
But seriously, they are dreadful!!

Just in case any of you are in any doubt - we will never ever win at the City Ground.

How utterly predictable was that.

Unbelieveable........well no actually, we're Leicester and we turn a stroll in the park victory into hanging on for dear life at the end.
Just for the record, never a penalty. Still reckon we'd of let it slip without it though.

Not Sven's or the team's fault that at all - you can't legislate for a moment of stupidity from your goalkeeper or several rather greater moments of stupidity from an utterly inept and incompetent referee. Not sure what Schmeichel was doing to be honest - the red was stupidly harsh but the ref was quite clearly looking to get himself in the Sunday papers and he should've just kept his head down. Weale's hopeless flap and miss at the end (the only thing he had to do) shows just how much we'll miss him against So'ton.
The penalty however was more than farcical and Mr Moss should find himself slugging it out as the fourth official in a conference game somewhere next weekend - at least he wouldn't be able to do too much damage operating the electronic board.
A good game spoiled by a dreadful ref - let's just hope it evens itself out at some point and we get a lucky win courtesy of some dodgy officiating.
