players.
By retired players I mean those players who have retired from England but still playing club football.
--------------------Hart
Johnson----Terry---Cahill-----Gibbs
-------------Gerrard---Henderson---
Walcott---------Rooney-------OX
------------------Sturridge
I wanted pace on the wings and who else is there that's good enough apart from probably Sterling? Seriously, I am fed up with all the static football that we have in our midfield. Henderson to Milner to Welbeck to Lallana back to Gerrard back to Milner... WTF
Can't think of a better RB than Johnson even though he isn't all that, was tempted to put Jenkinson
Gibbs at LB Simply because, I as an Arsenal have seen him enough times to say that he is better than both Baines and Shaw. Not to mention the fact the he has faced more challenging opponents than them also. Also we have enough set piece takers so Baines isn't needed for that either.
Picked my CB's on partnership and I feel Terry and Cahill had the best partnership in the league last year.
Gerrard and Henderson in CM/DM whatever you want to call it. I would have preffered a proper DM and this is where I feel we lack at the moment. Nevertheless Henderson is good at dirty work and somebody is needed of this type in there.
Rooney - play him in his best position end of.

Got his knickers in a twist
Gibbs is a better defender, Baines is better going forward.
I prefer my full backs to defend.

If Baines was really that decent he'd not still be playing for Everton and wouldn't have been found out against Italy. You can't blame Rooney not tracking back for Baines' shortcomings- look at his positioning in that game he never knew whether to go to the ball or follow the player out wide and in the end did neither every single time.

Not sure why all neutrals are anti Gibbs. I can guarantee if he played against Italy we wouldn't have lost. Baines got ripped apart time and time again.

Utd came in for Baines but we refused to sell, and if Gibbs is that good he'd be playing for England instead of Baines.

Behave yourself, there's a reason why Gibbs is the fourth choice English LB in the league, and that reason is he's shît and made of china.

If that were true then Wilshere would have started, and been found in, the last two England games.
Just like Leighton Baines

Gibbs is class. He's played against top European players and done a decent job. If Gibbs played today we wouldn't have lost. All you deluded anti Gibbs guys can't handle the truth.
