Welcome to the Midlands Cup
Rules
This cup will be a league format cup where each team plays each other twice. The tactics limit is the same as the league (to be voted on) which will be a very strict limit. This will be checked. The deadline for tactics will be the day of the game at 11am.
The results system will be in the same format as the league however the distribution of slots is to yet be worked out for the new season.
In order to encourage the trying out of different players in this cup you are NOT ALLOWED to play the same 11 as you did in the previous game. Therefore if you played Cech, Mandzukic and Di Maria in GW1, those players will not be allowed to start in GW2. However they can be subs.
The amount of subs teams are allowed is 12. They are allowed to use 11 of the 12 subs. Onces players come off, they are not allowed back on.
In order to encourage more attacking football, we will allow a team to gain 1 point for every goal they scored. If at the end of the cup two teams occupy 1st position, the winner will be selected through Goal Difference, Goals Scored, Head to Head, or a Penalty Shootout
If teams participating do not hand in tactics, they will suffer a 5-0 loss. If they forget for a 2nd time they will be disqualified.
