..and we haven't beaten any big team since 2002? We're a facking laughing stock! And now we've got Hodge-podge for another 2 years after our worst World Cup performance since 1958.

Money and corporate fat cats have killed the beautiful game, the working class game, but beautiful all the same.
And I'm not talking about just England. Brazil? See, Woy LOOKED better. On TV. Our arry doesn't give off a good impression when it comes to the corporation of football.

England have no decent full backs, apart from Shaw, one half decent centre half, Cahill, no proper defensive mid and no proper wide left player.
On top of that, no world class players, it was always going to be a struggle for England to get out their group. What happened may disappoint England fans but it's hardly a surprise.

Hold on,reigning World Champions Spain went out with 7 goals scored against them and before us!
Roy is going in the right direction buit he's not there yet,Rooney and Gerrard have been the two worst players by far!
One tap in in three World Cups for Rooney is it?WTF is he still doing in the England team?
Once these awful,so-called "Golden Generation" muppets are all gone,we may be able to build a team that can compete at some level.

Our only truly world class player,Ashley Cole was left at home!
The only surprise for me is that we only lost by one goal to both Italy and Uruguay!

The F. A. answer to this fiasco in Brazil is to announce that Hodgson will be around for at least two more years.
Sounds like the story about the guy who was stuck in a very deep hole and decided that the best way to get out was to dig the hole deeper!

Cole is a geriatric and cannot even get in the Chelsea team now. He was rightly left at home. Another of the so called Golden Generation that has helped England get in its present dire position. Both Gerrard and Rooney should have also been left at home.

England were doomed to fail like Wigan n the FA Cup. The England connections and Hodgson's mouth. Balotelli played in England and scored the winner. Hodgson said "Suarez has yet to prove himsel on the world stage." Fatal and sure to rebound as Suarez plays in England. parallels with spurs when ex players score against us and ex coaches win against us.

For all my agreement with whats said on this thread, and coming from a Spurs fan, I actually like Rooney. In fact he is one of the very few out of the whole team. He alongside Defoe would have been interesting. Romario and Bobetto anyone?
