France. Been a breath of fresh air thus far. Belgium are the memedia darlings but have been really poor so far.

Being Norn Irish though, I couldn't care less about Engurlund. I am also sadly resigned to the fact we will never ever reach a major tournament.

Still in the competition, hoping portugal can win against the US today, we fought well against the Germans yesterday and i think we deserve to qualify to the next stage of the competetion

I was expecting england to lose every game they played this tournament with the b team squad they picked.

Anyway after carrick was not picked and van gaal was named man utd manager and with RVP I won't mind man utd getting a world cup winning manager and player.

My team I want to win this year is holland and they have started off with a bang already.

how can anyone support Belgium???, what boring team.

no offence to Belgians on this thread, I love Belgians I do.

I'm lucky enough... and err old enough... to remember 82 and 86... but i get what Merry means, it's highly unlikely to happen again.

I was only 6 months old in the 86 world cup so can't remember it sadly.
