I enjoyed the game last night and found myself screaming 'nooooooooooooooo!' when Portugal scored at the death.
I never thought that would happen tbh.

I didn't make a sound. Took the air right out of me.

Still showing that we aren't a joke of a footballing nation is a step in the right direction. Improving every tournament. I'm proud of them right now. This is more than I realistically believed in when the groups were announced.

I don't really pay much attention to the colonials.

One thing that cracks me up is they always lay into America for not having good fish n chips. as if that's the height of cuisine. Fried fish and fried potatoes. All I've heard from anyone who visits England is how terrible their food is. I have a feeling they just don't like us.
