Its just rather funny that McCoist seems to be trying to reform Smiths old 2008 squad, 4/5 years past their prime.

I dont think theres any doubt that Boyd will score goals for Rangers especially in the Championship but that longer term, signings like Miller to add to the likes of Stevie Smith and Richard Foster are going to cause problems this time next year.

Boyd and Wallace would do a good job in a title winning side but there are no other players who have the ability to be part of a team to beat Celtic next season in my opinion, far less with a manager like McCoist at the helm
