The squad we took to Brazil was very inexperienced and still very rough around the edge's but there is no denying that the potential is there. If these youngsters are given the time they need to mature and develop to realise that potential, we could go to Russia in 4 year time with a squad that could really spring some surprises.

The future's brighter than you think.

I thought this might be an interesting read until I got to Kyle Walker's name. Joke.

I think there is a chance that Will Hughes or Nathaniel Chalobah could partner Wilshere but it depends if they get given the chance at their club or keep going out on loan. There is also the chance that a couple of outstanding players could come along in four years time (like a Rooney or Owen).

The weak links in that team are Walker at right back and possibly Henderson in midfield, also we don't have an advanced playmaker as all of the attacking players are quite direct and Lallana will be 30 by that time.

Even though I'm biased, I'm surprised the FA haven't tried harder to get Grealish as he could play that role in four years and has the potential to be very, very good if we can nurture him properly.

*Will Hughes not on loan, but playing in championship, apologies needs to be playing in PL.
