awarded at this world cup?
Croatia had one wrongly given against them in the first match of the World Cup. Germany had one given for them, which could be debatable.
Netherlands had two wrongly against them and last night saw Ivory Coast go out to one.
There has been about 10 penalties given this tournament and (close to) half of them have been wrong.
There have been another 4-5 incidents that should have resulted in a penalty not given.
Have the refs been better than previous tournaments or is this World Cup being less boring than the previous ones (as usually the teams opened the first few games with a draw) led to not much focus on the refs?

This is football. You win some you lose some.

That is 1/3 wrongly given and 1/3 wrongly not given meaning there is only 33% chance of a rightly given penalty with the other 67% changing games and results.

The Greek one yesterday was the most painful.... I would have got £75 back if Ivory coast had drawn lol
Although, the penalty was the correct decision
