Weren't tested that much though. Enrique and Kelly did great. Carra and Agger did well when needed.

I wonder if we would have got all 3 points last week if Kelly had played instead of Flanno...we'll never know.

There was no protection from Lucas or Adam,Arsenal steamrollered through the middle at will.

It should look solid, dont believe all th shhh.hit going around, if Agger and Carra stay fit we will be fine in the centre.
Enrique looks like an absolute bargain and a really solid left back going forward and defending, while right back is sorted with Johnson and Kelly, tbh i prefer Kelly at the mo...good times.

I'd still like a new CB.
Agger's injury prone and I think this might be the season that we slowly ease down the number of games Carra plays in order to extend his career.

Agree Sporty one more centre half could be worth several points come the end of the season, the greek is poor and costs us points with Aggers injuries and Cara you need two good back ups, Skrtel and one more would be great, that N'gog to Bolton as part of a deal for Cahill would be great.

Lets get Cahill before Bolton play us, be nice,eh? Heard rumours we settled on a price, dont know how true.

I think Kenny had a word with Carra.
That was at least an 80% reduction in the diagonal Carra long 'pass'.

Kelly is going to best the best English right back since Phill Neal awesome preformer

I agree, but I'd still get Gary Cahill in a heartbeat. Agger is injury prone and Carra is not going to last forever, so another quality centre back is still needed.
Kelly looks good for right back right now and will in time be weeded into the centre back role. Wilson looks like he might be loaned out for the year, but looks like a good understudy to Agger for the future, while Skrtel will be the number four centre back for now!

Yes we were solid, esp if you choose to ignore Jamie C's full body throw on, I think, V Persie in our penalty box in the final minutes. All that was confirmed for me today is that FLC would be out of their minds to contemplate selling Raul. Carroll reminds me of Martin Chivers of Spurs (yes, I'm that old). Great in the dry, hopeless in the wet, unable to trap, control, handle the ball or pass. At best he was a great big nuisance to the gooner's defence, taking more than one of their defenders out of the game. Henderson is definitely one for the future - not today - Adams at times disappointed. Those are my honest views. YNWA JimmyTheRed
