To those saying that Wenger denying Balotelli rumours is 'good news', why is this?
For a player of that ability, and at the age of 23, to cost £26m is a snip in my opinion. Who else will we get with that ability and youth for the same price?
Let's be realistic, Wenger won't be spending the £40m+ needed to sign a world class forward, so Balotelli was the next best thing IMO.
As for Benzema, why would he leave Real for a club who plays for 4th and CL quarters (if that) each season?
Remy is now the best we can hope for, unless Wenger puts all his faith in Campbell / Giroud, or signs an 18 year old from ligue 2.

If our striker options are giroud, campbell and remy next season I will be ballistic, wouldn't be good enough for a title challenge

Yeah but that was something else he denied it. Last night he out right said that Balotelli has had a poor tournament and he has no intention to go for him. Of course this could well change if him and his agent lower their demands and Milan lower theirs too but realistically I don't think Wenger is too keen on him
