Who to support at World Cup?

With England gone, I’ve been trying to decide who to support in the next stage (I hate watching matches as a neutral). I was thinking Ivory Coast, given their Leeds United connection (Max Gradel), but now they’re out too. The only Leeds connection I can think of is Argentina, whose assistant manager is Alex Sabella.

Anyone got any better ideas?

the dutch are the only great footballing nation never to win a world cup and were very unlucky twice in the 70's with a cracking side that played great football... They've always been my second choice team.

However, they are are bolshy cocky bunch and its hard to like arjen robben and van persie no matter how good they are. So I too am struggling for a team to support.

And they're perverts.

Spain sound good - or maybe Italy?

I'm not hearing any Leeds United connections here. I can't believe that a network of so many knowledgeable and troll-free Leeds fans can't come up with something.

Columbia - our new signing-to-be Victor Ibarbo is playing for them.

Chile - My dark horse to win it from the start

Holland - Always had them as a second team, probably as I always have them in the sweepstake

Columbia - Ibarbo and co are a breath of fresh air, top counter attacking team.

EERLDS ?

Where or what is that then...?

Sounds like the sound you make when you realise you have a skin condition that oozes..!

I am supporting the Argies and I don't care who knows it.

Eric - sorry to hear about that skin condition (whether it’s yours or someone else’s). Please don’t tell us again!

I’m looking for a team with Leeds United associations. Of the 16 countries left, only the nEthErLanDS have all the letters of Leeds in their names, so I’m backing them. Eelds United for Ever!

It's cleared up now.
