Prejuce Nakoulma!

If reports are to be believed, we're close to signing this guy on a free.

He's being described as a striker but according to Chris Lepkowski he's more of a winger.

Don't know much else about him though he looks very quick and strong.

We may have to move fast as Legia Warsaw are said to be showing an interest.

Your thoughts?

I wouldn't touch Sam Hutchinson. He sounds like another Giles Barnes injury crock. I agree, all in all these guys are not of the quality we should be looking at.
Disappointing about Aaron Cresswell, and I wonder how much money we offered compared to West Ham.

A) He's not signed for anyone yet.

B) We don't know what fee if any has been accepted

and

C) We may get somebody better

Let's just sit tight and see what happens!

I tell you what, if he is being sold for as little as £2 million then it just goes to show that bargains are to be had.

£30 million for Shaw?

More importantly, let's hope Eugenie Bouchard wins Wimbledon:

£3 million rising to 4 is what i've heard. Still not exactly big bucks for somebody who's supposedly our main target.

What will we be paying for our secondary target? £100k?

Rising to £ 7 Million , now that changes thing a little

CL; Bham Mail ..............

I understand Albion backed out of a potential deal earlier this week when it became clear that Ipswich's value would exceed what the Baggies felt was a reasonable amount.

Ipswich's value of Cresswell, who joined West Ham on Thursday, took into account a 20 per cent sell-on payment to former club Tranmere.

The 24-year-old signed for the Hammers after they agreed a deal with the Tractor Boys worth around £3.5million, rising to around £7million based on various add-ons.

Albion were recently linked with Martin Olsson, of Norwich, and Andy Robertson, of Dundee United. Both were ruled out as targets initially but the failure to land Cresswell might change that particular landscape.

If he makes the obvious requirements to trigger the add on's, then obviously it will be worth the money as he'll of played all those games and been successful.

For a young, British fullback...the resale value would be incredible going off his age.

It's a shame.

But hey, was never going to happen really. He's not a free transfer.

Good.

Underwhelming player, just like the rest of our supposed 'targets'.
