Am I alone in thinking that next season is a crucial season for one Adnan Januzaj?
I know he's only a youngster but I feel that if he doesn't push on this season and establish himself as a regular, he might just fall behind his development curve.
I think we all know we saw something special last season, but have we not said similar things about Nani or even about Welbeck, need I mention Anderson? It's pretty obvious that Januzaj's potential is on a different level to these players, but at the moment it's just that, potential. And I think we've seen our fair share of potential go unrealised in recent years.
So what do you all think? Is Adnan destined for the top I matter how long it takes? Or is it essential he pushes on this year?

What's our league position got to do with us being over reliant on a kid who was in the reserves only the previous year

Not a lot, just that most players that have the 'carried a team' tag applied to them, it's when the team has achieved something.
Anyway that was a throw away line, the actual comment was beneath it, which you have chosen to ignore.

Yes, that is an exaggeration. He was however a bright spot in an otherwise dismal season.

That's the thing, he had a great season for someone so young in their first season in the senior squad but because we were so sh-t his performances at times got greatly exaggerated to compensate for our failings.
Still a great prospect and someone I hope to see often in our team this coming season.
His performance against Hull at the end of the season really excited me, maybe with the pressure off he was able to relax but the way at which he was getting past players was a joy to watch.

Haven't seen half the potential that the kid has yet. He is one guy that WILL get better and better IMO. Don't throw the newborn in the pool yet although it looks like he can already swim.

apparently that's the best way to teach them. I wouldn't do it though
