I don't care who wins the World Cup as long as it is not Brazil!
They have benefitted from refereeing bias from the first game, with I think instructions to make sure they do not leave the competition early!
Last night the referee was such a "Homer" he might as well have worn a yellow shirt.
He gave very little to Colombia (no choice with the penalty) & allowed Brazil to kick lumps out of Rodriguez without showing a single yellow card. Yet the first time Rodriguez tackled someone, he was booked!
Obviously Fifa did not want Brazil to exit the competition too early & think this message was conveyed to match officials, whether directly or in a cryptic fashion
Brazil have not played "Samba" football now for 30 years & even in their last WC Win 12 years ago inAsia, they were distinctly average.
I would have loved to see Colombia win last night, however I am hoping the Germans put them to the sword on Tuesday night.
Anyone But Brazil, Please!!!!

That was the performance of the tournament so far yesterday from the Germans, for me.
Löw finally utilised Lahm properly, the midfield look more balanced & as a result their game-plan was well & truly executed.
They might need to be a bit more ruthless when ahead but on that evidence they'll be hard to stop.
A performance the 1990 side would've been proud of.
Considering the absentees & the potential replacements to add to a pretty average team as it is, I can't see the adrenaline & emotion of it all being enough to drag the Brazilians over the line again.
Germany's World Cup to lose in my opinion if the manager sticks to the same line-up.

Couldn't agree more with this and I know many people who feel the same. The media are once again telling us who we want to win the trophy (just like they did with Liverpool last season). Personally I can make my own mind up.
They keep telling us that Brazil is the hotbed of world football yet all their top boys play in Europe and their big domestic games play to empty stadiums. Its a bit like the English myth that the North East is more passionate about the game than the rest of us.

the ref's favouring Brazil has been a feature from the start
they are being allowed to get away with foul play and are rewarded very soft set pieces, just so that they progress into a reasonable round to prevent the country from going into meltdown
that is what i will remember this world cup as, especially if Brazil go on to win it, thought that seems unlikely now that the little weasel neymar has copped it

England played every game in '66 at Wembley, hometown bias is normal.

I'm really hoping for a Brazil vs Argentina final, with Argentina winning it
