Costa Rica, Mexico, and USA made a good run at this world cup. All three had a tough group to deal with and made good progression to the knockout stages. Honduras being the odd one out, 3 out of the 4 making the knock rounds is fantastic achievement for their footballing region. That keeper from Costa Rica has to be the best keeper at the world cup. You could say that all three teams had great goalkeepers who made some fantastic saves for their teams. But watching all those teams and seeing their progression and improvement is fantastic and good for the game.

Ochoa v Brazil.
Howard v Belgium.
Navas v Holland.

Would've loved to see C.Rica win tonight.
Mexico always do well at world cups until the knockouts, USA record recently has been good, but every tournament they are improving quite massively, and the fact they were in arguably the hardest group and to come out of it, is itself a massive achievement.

Better than many European teams
All of them play nice organized football, with great confidence on the ball, great tactics and intent, even though low on resource and experience at high level.
Teams of people.
