Courtois 'without doubt' Chelsea keeper

Agree that there is room for both Courtois and Cech at Chelsea.

One thing that happens at Chelsea is that our keepers often get injured so why not have two top class keepers in the squad ?

Especially if Cech is happy to be a very well paid Cup keeper who can step in any time when Courtois is injured/out of form.

He really does, getting tiresome

I would let Cech go if we made Courtois no.1 tbh. He is only 31/32? And a truly world class goalkeeper that would walk into pretty much any team bar 1/2, he deserves to be starting regularly. And Schwarzer is a good back up anyway

He's a fairly decent backup but I certainly wouldn't describe him as a good backup.

Cech getting injured towards the end of last season was costly and Schwarzer was a noticeable step down in class.

If we could convince Cech to stay then we could pretty much guarantee that even with injuries we'd always be able to stick a brilliant keep in goal.

Schwarzer mucked up against Sunderland shouldn't be more than 3rd choice.

I hope Petr would stay until at least January unless a top class team come in for him (Real maybe). I'd hate to see him shunted out to Spurs if Lloris goes or something like that.

If Cech can join a really good European team, he should. He deserves that.

Why cant we share the games out Chelsea seem to play an overwhelming amount of games over the course of a season alot more than most we need good reliable cover and depending on form the better keeper should play, at least until Courtois can prove he can play for us.

we should just play a selection game, you stay in goal until you conceed a goal then you get dropped. I want Chelsea to be a team that will be impossible to score against like in the Makalele days.
