Players aren't all clones. They have different strengths that are suited to different situations. It doesn't mean the player has done anything wrong.
Schurrle is likely to play more at home when we shouldn't be so defensive,Willian more away when we may need to keep it tighter. Its why you have a squad and players with different qualities.

? Players also arent 1 dimensional beings. They can adapt. Why not give them pointers? Schurrle was left out of the side for around 2 months...maybe more. Saying he wasnt suited to all of those matches would be ridiculous.

Willian is quality, he is never going to be a stats player, however you simply cannot ignore the balance he brings.

Needs to work on his decision making and Darren I normally find myself agreeing with you but he is miles more naturally gifted than Milner.

Yeah he's more naturally gifted but I still don't think he's that good.

I agree he gives you more balance but for me he just doesn't do enough going forward.

He may go on to prove me wrong and really up his game going forward. I'll be happy enough to admit I'm wrong about him and that he's changed my opinion of him.

Willian when he receives the ball is near world class in the midfield. Quick to react, create space, release a pass and dribble out of trouble. In the final 3rd he has a brain fart and cannot make a decision, sees everything late and cannot finish to save his life. It may be a mental thing but he has the tools to become a very good player. Just needs to step up.

Schurrle is wasted at Chelsea. You should sell him to Liverpool. Him and Sturridge would be great together.

I'm still unconvinced in truth but he is at least a good squad player with a great work ethic.

I prefer Schurrle over Willian obviously. Seems to be settling.
