Not a single player in todays WC Final in Brazil Maracana stadium between Germany and Argentina, (the best two teams on planet earth), are from the above clubs, does that mean they are what we already know, average teams. While Arsenal has three players in Özil, Per, Podolski and if rumours are right, add Khedira to the list. Chelsea have one, Shurle, while City have Zabaleta, Demichelis and Aguero.
I hope DFB Team wins, they more than deserve it.

you only have to look a t the signing s Arsenal have been making over the past year compared to Liverpool and Man Utd to see that we are in a totally different league to them
Man Utd signed Fellaini, Herrara (who?) and Shaw (smalling Mark II), Liverpool signed Aspas, Lambert and Lollana, while We've signed Ozil and Sanchez.

I am not agreeing with the OP as it's a team game. Ronaldo is class and never been to a final and with Messi being, IMO, the greatest player I have seen it's only his 1st. Individuals do not make a league team winners as other players may bring the team down.
But I will defend my team. For years we were told top 4 is nothing only trophies. Now we win the FA cup it's a cràp trophy. I always loved the FA cup. Anyone who doesn't is not a true football fan.
Liverpool have only won the league cup in 9 years but to them it's a trophy. We won a better cup.
Man U for the 1st time dropped out of the top 4. Getting the top 4 trophy would have been great.
So laugh all you want. We are back. We are buying and we are getting trophies again......
