10 Year Plan Rewarded

Germany were the best team in the tournament.

They reap the rewards of their ten year plan.
On top of that, they play great football, and they
have a ton of talent coming through. Look out
Europe in 2016. They may well do a 'Spain'.

If only the English FA would wake up and
realize what Germany has done and how they
went about it.

Oh well, we have LUFC. MOT.

Well done Germany.

From what I can see the FA's rule changes in the grass-roots game have been good. But they're unable to do anything about poor pitches and people within the game driven by winning rather than developing players.

In any case, changes at grass-roots level will have little effect on the national team as youngsters with potential to be professional are generally taken out of the grass-roots system aged 8 or so.

Warwick, what would you do to change things if you had the chance?

Warwick, that's why Germany succeeded where the FA will continue to fail: Germany set out a bold plan and carried it out regardless of dissent. That's what it takes.
The only thing bold about the FA is the coffee in the kitchen. Huge difference between our football authorities and Germany.

I read I think it was the Guardian, that the reformation of their football coinciding with their political and financial rise within EU. Interesting.

I don't think they are has locked into the -Privilege-Access - Honors way of life that is endemic to English governance.

......I hate it when they do something like win, the stick I get at work!.

It wouldn't be that bad if I was English, but they seem to enjoy rubbing it in even though they know I ain't!.

Take a look on Stoopo's link, any you'll find one about "Here's The Secret To Germany Becoming The Most Dominant Soccer Team In The World"

I think that's all you need to read about the German/English way of doing things!..

I'd put the link up but don't want to get hung out for stealing the guys work, but it is a good read!.

"any" should be "and"!.

It's not actually rocket science is it, get assorted like minded players together and get them to play as a team.

Advise them that if they pass the ball to each other and don't waste it they will succeed.

We've had the age old problem, we've been a great club lacking a team.

That's all the plan you need.

Get that and we're half way there.

Just an opinion.

I think a big help in the English game would be if England adopted the 51/49 thing!..

Nah, maybe not, its to late, they wouldn't be able to do it!.
