Levy's two year plan?

It seems it at the time and seems even more apparent that we bought players to we didn't have to spend this summer.

I doubt Levy knew AVB would 'walk' or get sacked. But I think we won't see much heaping in terms of incomings. I don't mind the quiet....

No excuses for the new players this term. Poch will ale have a good pre-season with them. And he would have also seen them in both the matches in which we played Southampton. He knows the ones that displayed talent and those that didn't.

Doesn't that work both ways? If they know we need to buy then they can drive the price upwards?

Yes there are more clubs that we could turn to, but if they have a player we want and know we are short then it stands to reason they can add a couple of million on.

Levy needs to give Poch time , even with a full pre season I reckon it will take a full season before we start seeing the finished product , I'm getting facked off with the amount of managers we go through.

Agree.. needs to give him a few seasons as long as we are improving and in top 4-6

----

fair enough, but its the fans that are the problem.

we all say give him time, but three bad results back to back and the boo boys are out and want him sacked.

to put it bluntly, our fans are a bunch of thick, unrealistic s, particularly those at white hart lane, and cannot understand the simple concept of not writing off someone or something just because it doesn't work at once.

you would have thought the gareth bale saga from the moment he joined the club to the moment he left would have shown us that things take time to work out, but no, we collectively just carry on in faaacking it all up, and Levy reacts to it. he has to be strong this time round if it doesn't initially go to plan.

Chronic,

===============

Not every player that joins THFC will be sold for a world record fee after 6 years as long as we stay patient. Its quite normal that some signings wont work out regardless how long we give them, and fans are more than entitled to suggest this is the case from what we see.

You were quite against Livermore from the moment he started breaking through - why do you never apply your logic to fit all instead of using the single and only example of a player leaving for a world record fee to suit this opinion?

For example, Rose will never turn into a world class player regardless of whether we keep him for another 6, 7, 10 or 15 years. And this logic applies to 90% of players that come to us - not the 1% you have chosen to use for the basis of your opinion.

erm no I absolutely wasn't. don't cause mischief.

I do not rate him as a footballer, never have, but I have certainly never booed him and I did not hound him out the club in the way several spurs fans did to jenas.

Chronic,

Who said you booed him? I just said you were against him, as you have re-confirmed with your comment of "I do not rate him as a footballer, never have". Why dont you put him in your Bale scenario with all other players? I know, its because you too realise that not all players will have the potential Bale turned out to have and using this as a benchmark is not realistic.
