International Champions Cup

Dont usually watch Pre-season friendlies but this looks quite interesting (Cos im football starved) and with the quality teams involved hopefully a slight competitive edge.

Looking forward to the Liverpool game and a prospect of playing Madrid or United in the final. Also be good to see Mangala, Sagna and Big Willy get a run out.

Group A
Inter
United
Real Madrid
Roma

Group B
Milan
Liverpool
City
Olympiakos

I can't see City winning this at all. There will be a few new faces and a few kids and the odd seasoned pro.

It'll just be a warm up for the season.

If you get Wummed by Barry still, even now, you deserve a lifetime ban.

Not if Gerrard has anything to do with it.

Well he's won nearly everything else so I can't see why he won't wanna add this prestigious trophy to the list.

"Well he's won nearly everything else so I can't see why he won't wanna add this prestigious trophy to the list."

Ambitious use of the phrase "nearly everything else"

Why is it ambitious? The only thing he hasn't won is the league when it comes to club football. Also came third in the Balon D'or, got UEFA Club Player of the Year, FIFA World XI three times and various other individual honours. So yeah, he's won nearly everything else.

... Interesting to see it's suddenly become about club football...

P.S coming 3rd in Balon D'or isn't winning it.
