theres a guy I work with who thinks Jardine is the greatest Ranger of all time
ahead of John Greig
Jardine played with Rangers for most of his career and as soon as his spell with hearts was over he was back working at the club
he stuck by Rangers through thick and thin and stood beside the Rangers support in the march to Hampden, he regularly went to games afterwards and returned after his illness appeared to be subsiding
As much as I understand John Greig's departure from Rangers under whyte's reign, he left and hasn't came back, where as Jardine didn't
I think he makes some good points but I still think Greig shades it

Copland Road was named after writer William Copland in the early years of the 19th century. It was a tribute to the fact his principal residence was at Dean Park Villa. Some people may get this wrong but it's Copland, not Copeland with an 'e'. It was changed to Copeland when builders were building the Copland Road School and was allowed to stand for a while but it's long been changed back to its rightful name
