Not an insult ol' boy, it's just that I'm a senior citizen and he's a young lad in his 20's. People my age often use the word 'son' when referring to a younger person.

Good to see you back here tatter, and good that you planned your holidays for the close season. A number of my mates have bought season tickets and then booked holidays for late August. Bad planning.
