I haven't seen much of Markovic but the more I read about him the more I like the sound of him, apparently rapid with the ball at his feet.

I can honestly see a Carra esque progression for Flanno. Not so much in terms of position, but definitely in career development.

For a long while under Houllier, Carra was a Phil Neville type player, filling in wherever there is a hole, but never making one position his own. It wasn't really until Rafa came that we saw him really become a player.

I can foresee a similar situation with Flanno, where he grows into a good player in his mid to late 20s.
