I know I posted an article about this about a week ago, but there are now very strong rumours that Fawaz has reached a deal with the Kuwaiti Government over naming rights and the City Ground will be called, the Kuwaiti City Ground and our sponsor on the Shirts will say KUW with him saying this on Kuwaiti TV (supposedly).
I suppose if the name has to be changed then this is the best way forward as the City Ground name will always be there officially as well.
I just think it is good that we are such a big club that we need to be sponsored by a country

Wow mattstant and his small man syndrome.
Going back to the original point...I would be sad, but it appears that we are all heading in that direction a la ipro, macron, etihad, Emirates, John Smiths.
At least we keep City Ground there hopefully. And maybe get some more revenue running through the club, slap some paint on our ground to make it more lovely. Maybe work on the academy. Very nice.
