Lukaku

Expected to sign in the next 48 hours

Of course this is an everton 48hours such as that seen recently with besic, Kyle walker/naughton a few years before that and not to mention Moutinho and Riquelme

Would be chuffed if true.

It pretty much nailed on, £18m apparently

His signing will kick start the remainder I the summer. £18M is a fair price.

Bersic to sign next then?

I will believe it when it actually happens

He wouldn't be my first choice, but there's far worse out there.

Bony would be a good choice, but ACON duty would mean he misses key games at the start of the year.

I would much prefer lukaku than bony to be honest. Lakaku does need to improve his first touch, but think they are of a similar standard at the moment and lakaku being 5 or 6 years younger ( not sure to be honest) offers more scope for improvement. Saying that I would not turn my nose up at bony, I always like to see a centre forwards second season as for the first season the seem to surprise defenders who wise up by the time of the second season.

I smell Kenwrights little stubby fingers on the keyboard behind this. No sooner does the rumour come out than SSN (sources) state that Lukaku is currently on holiday no deal has been muted or done and he is to report for pre-season training.
