If we get Lovren, Remy and Moreno then I think we need to make a couple of really big signings to show we mean business.

For me they'd be Isco and Shaqiri. I think both would join us as first team football is limited at their respective clubs, both give us Champions League experience (both have been winners in the last 2 years) and they are just overall fantastic footballers.

I think we need to have Reina back in the squad too for his CL experience and I think Agger will be vital for that too.

If we get the players mentioned above I'll be more excited about this season than I have in as long as I can remember.

So we have Coutinho, Lallana, Markovic, Sterling, Suso, Ibe, Remy who can all play in AM/Wing positions and you still want to sign Shaqs AND Isco?

Reus can go missing too when in a physical game. I'd rather than Ibe and sterling grow than buy Reus. Spend the money on a class midfielder... pogba.

Remy can play in wide positions but hell play up front for us. Ibe and Suso should go on loan in the Premier League.

That leaves Sterling, Lallana, Coutinho, Markovic, Isco and Shaqiri for 3 positions behind Sturridge, Remy or Lambert.

With 2 games a week that's exactly the sort of squad strength you need to be competitive in all 4 competitions.

Not when your light in midfield in comparison... 2 of the 3 will be the main men. We won't have a new XI each game. Just think it's a waste of money to buy players for positions we are already strong in.

But there are injuries and suspensions especially with extra games. We won't play Markovic too much as he's young and raw, we'll have excellent choices as they are all different styles of players.
