Newcastle are keen to take young Serge Gnabry on a season-long loan from Arsenal. Anyone else heard this?
He's recently turned 19 and looks very mature in his play for a lad of such tender years.
I was suitably impressed with the lad when he was afforded the occasional opportunity last season. A (loan) move to a Prem team, where he'll get to see regular action would be beneficial for all concerned in my opinion.
Good idea?

Yeah, he needs game time.

It would be a good for him, but with a clause where we can get him back in January if needed.

No point, he doesn't take up any space in the 25man squad.
Would be a starter in the league cup and FA cup games.
He's more than capable as proved in his few appearances for the 1st team.
I would keep him in the squad, and if he doesn't get any mins before Jan, then loan him out

I'd rather see him go and play prem football for the year than go stale in our reserves. Realistically he wouldn't make a hug impact for us this season but could be a revelation for Newcastle.

Bad move loaning a world class player to a rival.

We can't help it, we have to loan someone out

Would be a decent move, if he has picked up enough French. The Geordies have lost/look like losing a few flair players like Remy, Ben Arfa and Ameobi so he has a chance of starting if he impresses.
A loan is pretty vital to his development, and with Joel Campbell back and Alexis signed he will see less action than last year at Arsenal.
