This is the picture we have been waiting to see for some time.

I hope our fans can see beyond the price tag and get behind the player. Ulloa was (imho) one of the best players I saw last season and it was no surprise to me that as a former centre back, Pearson was equally impressed. But make no bones about it; we will find the going tough next season and any lack of goals will not be down to Ulloa alone.
Hull scraped in last year with Jelavic and Long up-front. I would argue that the key to this was probably Huddlestone more so than the strikers. I can't help but think that the final piece in the jigsaw may be an experienced midfielder of a similar ilk.
But good luck Leo. Great to see you holding the new shirt.
Ulloa

How much did you pay for some Nigerian from Russia?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£10 million for a 25 year old international striker with Champion's League experience.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh that guy who wasnt picked for Nigerias world cup squad and made 7 starts last season. Lucky you.

Troy Deeney as well. Are you gearing up for an instant return to the Chumpionship?

DM I think Cox has well and truly knocked me out by saying we are going back to the 'chumpionship'

I hope that's not a typo. That's beautiful.
Incidentally, I'm a lot happier with Ulloa than I would be with Deeney. Although a lot, lot happier with either of those than Jutkiewicz. (Why on Earth have Burnley signed him?)

Nope, I never said that.
Must read more carefully!

Not convinced by Deeney myself. He is undoubtedly a good Championship striker but I haven't seen anything to suggest he could step up in the same way I think Ulloa can.
Would rather see a cheeky bid for Ings as Burnley are showing a considerable lack of ambition so far! Or alternatively, take a punt on Andy Delort (from Tours) who we have also been linked with.

Ulloa is a great signing. Strong, good finisher, excellent in the air.
A lot of his goals last season were from those crosses where you have to be brave to get on the end of,. Hopefully Albrighton can provide him with many of these crosses
