Haven't posted a wee bit of chitter chatter on this for a while but I thought last nights game would be a good chance to get back on the the ol'606.
First off - dont think the pubs, shops and local constabulary were expecting so many of us. We started off at Ryries at Haymarket and slowly worked our way to Murrayfield. Good banter and singing outside the boozer but jeezo.....bar staff need a good shake......and a smile wouldnt go a miss. I hate waiting for a pint. A few shops (especially Tesco express) beside Murrayfield had to shut after the game as they couldnt cope with the numbers. Drinking booze outside Murrayfield with the Police happy to let us was good...wouldnt happen in Glasgow. Murrayfield i was quite impressed with....if i was hungry i would have had a field day. Wads of chow to pick from.
The game itself was good....a high tempo pressing game was good to see. Bricked it when they hit the post in first minute but cruized if after. Thought Pukki should have had 3 in the first half. Griffiths is wasted out wide. Good passing especially Mulgrew and Johannson. Also good to see us getting some set piece goals.....although fook knows what their goalkeeper was playing at.
All in all a good day out......apart from the drive home. Took absolute ages to get onto the M8.
Think i will public transport it next time......also means i can have a good bevvy session instead of a meesly 2 pints.
Last night....

I really liked Murrayfield as a stadium, miles better than Hampden but then again that's not a majorly hard job.
I plumped for a cheeseburger out of one of the many snack vans at the stadium for £4.00 and it was rubbish, wasn't even fecking warm!
Quite liked the wee inside area you had to walk around before the game as well once you'd gone through the turnstiles

As an Edinburgh resident I take offence at the smiling bit
Naw I don't, nae time for smiling through here, sour faced vankers maist of us, serious business drinking to be fair though
Ghod, platform 5 is now my nominated boozer for watching the fitba, any game I cant make or other teams, great atmosphere, decent prices and I love a wee tv on my table
