with united signing new long term deals for mega money, it seems negotiating shortish term deals whilst we were bad was an excellent move.
with kit and sponsorship deals at £25m p/y each ending in the next season or two, we will be in a great position to exploit our true value
Given our training kit now attracts £15m p/y, I would imagine the club will be looking for double our current deals with standard chartered and warrior
kit and sponsorship deals

No, it completely makes sense that Suarez isn't last seasons top scorer now.
Afterall, Shearer isn't the all time premier league top scorer now because he's retired.

It was better than your last deal, but should have been more imo. If anything i'm complimenting Arsenal
Dunno why you're so defensive about this

Unless you are saying that livepool should expect higher sponsorship deals than arsenal, can you explain why getting £5m more a year now is a good deal compared to our deal which is 3 or 4 years old?

i agree with op..
real sign 10 years 5 years ago and utd have doubled it. for a big name the shorter the deal the better i'd say as well.
utd 10 year deal will be dwarved by real and barca when they do new ones.

Barca did one last season to be fair. The first one in the clubs history.
Also psg get paid something like 150mil

Don't forget inflation too. £70m pounds today won't be worth £70m in 10 years time. Assuming an average inflation rate of 3% it would be worth about £50m today.
