I swear no Argentinian ever played for Arsenal, is that a club policy? Is it something to do with Falklands war or the club doesn't fancy them.
Higuain was rejected, we came close to signing Alvarez now in Inter, and Di Maria was briefly linked with us. It is fair to say our close rivals, dont mind those players i.e., Chelsea had Crespo and Veron, United had Veron and Gabriele Heinze, City have the bucket loads of Zabaleta, Auguero, Di Micheles etc, even Spurs will tell you of Ricky Villa.
So, why the heck we ignore that talented nation for half baked Europeans and African average players and since we have signed now some Costa Rican and a Chillean, its time our manager get someone to the Argentine market or we continue to pick deadwoods.
Why don't we sign Argentines?

Work permits screwed us over a few times, not to worry though Messi will get his dream move eventually.

Most probably weren't born, or hadn't moved to England back then.
