I only ask because Agent provocateur-in-chief or is he more Picador than Matador, Jose Mourinho theorises that the acquisition of our very own Luke Shaw would have 'killed Chelsea'.
Apparently, the teenager's wage demands were exorbitant and signing him would have put the cat amongst the proverbial (Chelsea) Pigeons!
Now, i don't share MUDD's antagonism towards Shaw but i always empathised with his position, which was Shaw was grotesquely overpriced and IMO - though i very much hope to proved very wrong - i was yet to see the potential that many luminaries of the game raved about.
If we are to take Jose at his word, that the tween is on in excess of 130 k a week, is that good business? Would Shaw 'kill United'?

PS
Shaw is ours now, so he has my unfettered support. It doesn't detract from the fact that the situation stinks.
Would Shaw Kill Manchester United?

Well, this has gone downhill.
Always count on the likes of TCP to pollute threads.
Rather than this failed one-upmanship from both sides and Mourinho's mischievousness, we should identify with the fact that PL football as we know it is falling down an abyss and all clubs are compliant with it.

TRC,
10 years ago I would have wholeheartedly agreed. However, since then I have seen City and Chelsea flourish with mercenary squads. Times are changing and we must accept that the days of Neville dry humping the badge in front of the Kop are over.

Hahahaha oh the old Chelsea and City players are mercenary s and any one who joins United love the club line
Im sure Van Nisseroy and Barthez were dreaming of Old Trafford as a kid.
