KEY UPDATES
5: OLYMPIACOS 0-1 LIVERPOOL - Raheem Sterling
Daniel Sturridge slips as he tries to shoot from outside the area but the loose ball runs through to Sterling, who calmly lifts the ball past the keeper to give Liverpool an early lead.

TEAM
Jones, Johnson, Skrtel, Toure, Enrique, Gerrard, Henderson, Can, Sterling, Markovic, Sturridge.

Subs: Ward, Coutinho, Coates, Lucas, Allen, Ibe, Kelly, Coady, Robinson, Lambert, Peterson.

PREVIEW
Liverpool begin their International Champions Cup campaign against Greek side Olympiacos in Chicago on Sunday.

The Reds were beaten by Roma in the last minute three days ago in a friendly, whilst Olympiacos beat Milan 3-0 in the first Group B match of the tournament.

Brendan Rodgers is likely to welcome back the rest of his squad following the World Cup, meaning captain Steven Gerrard and striker Daniel Sturridge could all feature at some point this evening.

A game between these two sides cannot go without a mention of "that goal" by Steven Gerrard, which ensured Liverpool's passage into the knockout stages of the 2004/05 Champions League at the expense of Olympiacos - a competition they would later win against another group opponent in America, Milan.

Can was very good. Looks really assured on the ball. Markovic showed a few flashes of his crazy dribbling ability and he is quicker than I thought too. Needs to work on his finishing from what I saw.
