Nothing to do with the God debate, does he or doesn't he exist, it was simply a greeting. Just like when I wish everyone Merry Xmas...

I dont want to seem nasty i hope you and your family enjoy your day Gunning, but football and this forum should be free of politics and Religion.

Just like those idiots who attacked the Maccabi Haifi players and the thugs who attacked Neil Lennon...Its just not needed in the beautiful game.

I get what you are saying but it was merely an expression of congratulations to everyone who is and isn't celebrating... I think we are a community on here and there is nothing wrong with saying Eid Mubarak as long as you leave it at that.. after all every footballer, journalist is also tweeting it including Arsenal!!
