His tweet seems to suggest more than just being told he isn't moving. Sounds like he has been promised something and then is being told that promise won't be kept.

I think they were told that they would be holding on to their top players, only for Lallana & Lovren to follow Lambert & Shaw out the door. Then Chambers is sold to Arsenal.

I think any player would feel aggrieved in that situation, he has not gone on strike or threatened that has he? No, just voiced his opinion on twitter!
