yeah i agree to be honest. Not exciting but not too bad either. Wouldn't mind him as a second choice. What does everyone think about our fullbacks this season? Are we assuming we are getting in a left back? And what happened to that Manquillo (sp?) deal, is it still on? It is the area of the team which worries me the most. By far. We seemed to concede a lot of far post goals last season. I hope Enrique comes back to his best, i rate him personally. He dwells on the ball a bit but his pace and power make him a decent player. whether he will still have that i dont know

There are waves of joy crashing on the shores of Liverpool tonight.

I just feel sorry for Soton; £90m'ish in the bank and they replace Shaw with Bertrand. That's just cruel.

He will probably now go onto score a thirty yard screamer on the opening day of the season.

Thank the heavens! Hopefully this means our interest in re-signing Paul Konchesky will come to fruition!

I give Bertrand a lot of stick but he is a solid player and will be a good premier league player for certain but it's just an uninspiring signing and after losing Suarez I think we'll all looking for a signing that really gets us on our feet.

I think he's decent and will be interested to see how he does for Saints.

If we don't sign a left back we could still be in for him next summer if he does well.
