Id rather just play use Bamford.

Bamford obviously fits the bill but it's never going to happen.

I'm also love how people have completely forgot about Schurrle. He was decent for Leverkusen, in that position, the season before he joined us. And he has never disappointed when Germany have stuck him up top.

All these people saying we'll buy a new striker... How?

We've got Costa, Torres and Drogba. We only play with one striker 95% of the time. If we were to bring another in we'd have four players for one position. That doesn't even make sense in the slightest.

At the moment I am seriously worrying that Jose is happy with our lot because if he is, we are fecking screwed next season if Costa gets injured. This is the very definition of putting all your eggs in one basket.

Schurrle.........

Be my 2nd choice striker after Costa. He is getting largely overlooked on here by many for some reason.
Might change my mind as the season progresses however as I think Torres might get his act together training with Costa.

Costa is not in his prime, feel he can still go a notch above.

@The Blue Kenyan he played up top, in his last season at Leverkusen, quite a lot due to formation changes and injuries.

bridge banter I agree. I really like schrulle(for some reason) and I feel, second year, head down, more oppurtunities he will be good for us this year.
