WC stars miss start of season

Zabaleta, Aguero, Demichelis, Kompany and Fernandinho are not due to report back to training until next Monday only leaving them with two weeks pre season. With the Mangala deal still not finalised, these players may not figure in the few weeks of the season when we have some really tough looking matches.

How much of a concern should that be?

I don't fancy Dedryck marking Sterling in the Liverpool match for starters.
