Is he worth it?
He did an excellent 17 goal job for us and the same for Everton with 16 goals last term but £28m is an awful lot of money but I suppose when you look at Suarez's transfer fee, its cheap.
Pity JP doesn't have £billions as I'd have loved to see him back at The Hawthorns. Surprised the Dingles didn't go for him - they're always going on about the unlimited wealth of their Chairman
Romelu Lukaku - £28m

You could get three Brown Ideye's for that figure !
It wasn't so long ago Everton were in financial trouble so hope it doesn't break them.

To be fair they did sell Fellaini for a similar amount.
Doubt it's hurt them too badly

It’s a massive statement of intent from Everton who are historically a selling club. Martinez will be able to build a team around him. I expect him to kick on and by 25-26 be one of the best in the Premier League

I think he is good value when you see what is being spent on English players with half his talent. It was a pleasure watching him in an Albion shirt. His attitude is spot on and I think he will go on to be one of the best in Europe.
Jose should have had him as first choice striker. Why he hasn't is baffling!

Which means he will be off to sunnier climes! Either Barca, RM or PSG

Chelsea. It's hard to knock them.
They buy RL for £18m. Do feck all with him and collect £3m rent from us. We help develop him.
Chelsea do feck all with him again and collect £5m rent from Everton.
Chelsea still do feck all with him and collect £28m from Everton.
Total outlay = £18m
Collected = £36m
and Chelsea didn't even have to pay him wages.
Credit where credit is due.

Too expensive for Albion, that's for sure. I'd rather 3-4 good players for that much.
