As long as you have a bit of common sense then don't let these rumours and sites bother you. I guarantee if you ran a site like this and had the opportunity to make a bit of advertising money from it you'd do the same.

Yes! I remember they always had teasers in the teletext advert: United considering bid for prolific Brazilian.

And you knew if you rang they would give you a long intro, speaking slowly, before they got to the story, which was unfounded.

Ah, the magic of those days when live information meant watching the teletext screens rotate. I remember 'watching' the Liverpool-United game where O'Shea scored the last minute winner in this medium.

Teletext was awesome. I always preferred it to Alan Green's 5Live commentary.

My word! That's really him! Being in Halford's must mean he is buying a bicycle or an air freshener for his car, so he must be living in Manchester
