Gutted

Been trying to stay away from forums whilst on hols but its difficult with big games coming thick and fast. Will be a big ask to progress in cup v city but a good solid display will help bring some confidence back ready for another tough game v shrews sat. Ill be back for rotherham match and am really looking forward to seeing the new signings and hoping they will have settled by then.

Tonight's game is important in terms of the display and getting the balance of the side right. For me Saturday's game is far more important, Shrewsbury are in good form after an indifferent start and it'll be a really good test. Strangely enough I'm optimistic and think we'll get a result.

Agree, would be nice to be able to host the saints in round 2 but more concerned about sats game.

I'd just like to see us stuff some team properly.

Great result last night, will do a lot for confidence. I'm off to Shrewsbury on Saturday, really looking forward to it. I'd settle for a point now, we need to get into the habit of not losing.

Hopefully that result will lift the team - like you I'd be happy with a point. We haven't conceded a goal from open play in five games.

Sounded like it was no fluke last night against a strong city team. If we can bring some points away from shrews and play well it will set us up nicely for tuesday night against saints who are probably the strongest team in the championship at present.
