Opinions differ. A number of fans said "he didn't know anything about football" and held that against him. Personally I think he did his bit fairly well in a structure badly organised by the owner. He increased the club's revenue, and I think his organisational abilities were fine. Villa's financial problems were more down to lack of communication between owner and then manager, ie too many expensive signings left sitting on the bench.

Think he should do you fine.
