True and would love to have seen such. Again its a major fear of this we are gonna play the beutiful game no matter what rubbish. All for such if we have the players to do such against the opposition accordingly.
Horses for courses and from the kickoff this team was just wrong, without seriously restructuring the side we were not equipped to save the match let alone win it. We should have as you said just bunkered down and too be honest it would likely have given us a decent chance to hit on the break had we done so.

Cant understand the way our media department has gone about things though with all the hype over we "have changed our whole aproach" type of thing.
No we havent and no we cant because we choose too, under Lennon we destroyed teams when we played to our capabilities and our superiority in quality of player combined with poorer opposition allowed such.
To attempt to attack any team regardless of considering the quality of them and us is just plain stupid.

To be honest would have put money on us winning that game or at least coming away from it with an advantage under Lenny. Not a comparison to their overall skills just an observation that Lennon had a much firmer grip on reality
