A couple more...

So the new exciting season is almost upon us and really can't wait to see us playing the best of the best.

Just a hope NP can get a couple more faces in. Still think we are light at the back and especially midfield. James/Drinkwater fine, after this it doesn't really get you over excited. The prem is a ruthless division and having some strength in the middle of the park could be the difference of a struggle to a mid table finish we could achieve. Don't think we will get that 'wow' signing, not sure we need it but Hull's way last season was a good blueprint I reckon, although we have a better squad than they came up with.

We've only really replaced rather than adddd to the squad although the replacements are better for sure. Hopefully 2 or 3 more to come in to add some extra steel to the side.

What do others think? Exciting times!

Agree with all really

Would like a bit more quality but wouldn't be surprised if we go with what we have.

I really think we are an unknown quantity and have no idea if we will be a nice side to watch that finishes comfortably (ala Swansea and Saints) or whether we will struggle after our inevitable poor start and a team low on confidence. Here's hoping for the former but I really can't call it.

My only fear is the first few games. We have a very tough start and could quite easily be on zero points until well into Sept. If this is the case we need to hold our nerve and not panic. If someone calls Radio Leicester demanding the manager be sacked at half time vs Chelsea I'll smash the radio to bits!!

By Christmas I'm sure we'll be in the upper bottom half but we need to stay behind the team.

Agree on the above though, we are certainly a defender and a midfielder light.

I also hope the boo boys are not out in force after game 2, but it could happen, let's hope not!

The only way he is likely to get a lot of stick is if he doesn't make any signings and we get hammered every week, again hope it doesn't happen.

Think we are a couple of players short of a pretty decent side but really believe we need that little bit more...

I think we'll pick up some points in those games, possibly beat Everton, draws against Arsenal and United at home and away at Stoke? I can't see us losing all of them.

We will also not be expecting to win those games so as long as we give a good account of ourselves and keep faith with the way we play, then I'm sure we'll remain confident and begin to pick up points in the games we expect to.

A few points against the top teams and we'll be on our way.

Your best chance of points is early in the season when your confident and an unknown quantity so think you will have to take advantage. Before any of your initial confidence drops after a poor start. No reason why you shouldn't target the "bigger" clubs, if you don't win a few of these you will put to much pressure on the "winnable" ones
