Not happy

So, the Billionaire, sells our best two young players at the first opportunity against the advice of our new manager and without telling him. This from someone who wants Prem football asap. It stinks really

grff are you really Fawaz ?

No, I'm just able to be level headed enough to realise that no way is Darlow worth £6.5m. I'm also switched on enough to realise the two were sold to ensure we meet FFP.
So you'd be happy for us to pay £6.5m for Darlow if he played for another Championship club?

I don't think you can justify what Fawaz has done with FFP

Well we don't fully know the ins and outs but there certainly has been a break down in communication somewhere along the line. Fawaz clearly has discussed some aspects of the Newcastle bids with SP as he alluded to in the phone-in. We don't know what has been said or not said between then and the deal being settled.
At the end of the day, the transfers have gone through to ensure we are in a stable financial position which is the priority of any business/football club. It'll be interesting to see whether any of the rumoured £6.5m is put into the transfer kitty.

Pretty much all the sports sites are saying its 5 million P for both players not 6.5.

So you think it's still a good deal?

We got fleeced. They are worth more.

On a bright note, I think Forest are on the road to greater success with Psycho as manager and I look forward to some good battles on the pitch this season.

But I think you red dogs will agree there's a stark contrast between the way that DCFC directors just let Steve get on with signing, managing and coaching the clubs players without interference and the micro-management by Farwaz.

Fawaz is incapable of not interfering. Here lies the problem

A CEO may help the situation, as Fawaz that has an extra layer to try and interfere through

A CEO was promised in June. Pearce himself put two names forward last month. It's August and there is no CEO. Why?...

Still no word from Fawaz other than a little tweet. Are discussions taking place between manager and chairman? The abuse he has been getting is well OTT but he needs to come out and communicate.

Again it would appear that there is a big cultural difference here. In the Middle East, the owner is obviously in total control and makes all the decisions. At the end of the day, Fawaz can do that here but it will only go one way ultimately. I think he is at a crossroads here and needs to decide whether he wants to adapt his ways or carry on regardless.
